Cora Jarchow (* 2003 in Brandenburg) studiert seit 2021 an der weißensee kunsthochschule berlin, wo sie sich momentan in ihren Arbeiten mit übernatürlichen Erscheinungen, Träumen und zwischenmenschlichen Verbindungen beschäftigt. Ihre Auseinandersetzung mit diesen Bereichen findet meist figurativ und oft im Porträt statt, wobei sie überwiegend Graphit, Aquarell und Gouache auf Papier nutzt. Für die aktuelle Ausstellung lag für sie ein starker Fokus auf der Maske und Täuschung als Form von Verrat, da diese Aspekte sie nicht nur in Kleists Texten, sondern auch im Theater selbst, besonders faszinieren.

Her exploration of these areas is mostly figurative and often portraiture, using mainly graphite, watercolor and gouache on paper. For the current exhibition, she has placed a strong focus on the mask and deception as a form of betrayal, as these aspects particularly fascinate her not only in Kleist's texts, but also in the theatre itself.
